About MLP Travel

Geography and social studies were my most favorite subjects in school. It began in sixth grade when my first big report was on the country of Argentina. Little did I know that this report was the beginning of my obsession with the world.

Then in middle school, my English class was given a quick assignment on where we would see ourselves after high school. I had no idea what I wanted to do. I always liked learning about history and was really into Indiana Jones except I didn't want to deal with snakes. So before the teacher came up to collect my assignment I wrote, "Adventurer". I wasn't sure what that meant and neither did my teacher.

By the end of my senior year of high school, I received that assignment back. At that time, I was struggling to figure out what to major in college because every one of my classmates had already received their acceptance letters and knew what they were going to school for. I looked at that word "Adventurer" and it clicked, I knew what it meant.

I enrolled in community college and took all pre-requisites for 2 years until I was finally able to enroll at Arizona State University to receive a Bachelor's of Science degree in Tourism Development and Management.

Now fast forward to the present, I am now an employee at a major US airline and have been living my dream of being an "Adventurer" with the wonderful benefits I receive from my job. This leads to the reason why I created this blog. I wanted to be able to document the places I've been to, my experiences, the do's and don'ts, travel hacks, etc.

I hope that you will join me in my adventures and find my experiences or whatever I post on here helpful in some way.

Best of travels,
